From the 1 January 2021 you will be able to lodge the following types of applications via the NSW Planning Portal (ePlanning services)-
- Development Applications (DA)
- Section 4.55 Modifications (modify a DA)
- Division 8.2 Reviews (review of determination)
- Complying Development Certificates (CDC)
- Construction Certificates (CC)
- Subdivision Certificates (SC)
- Principal Certifier Appointment (PCA)
- Occupation Certificates (OC)
Note. The lodgement of application using the Portal will be optional until 1 July 2021 after which this will be the only way to lodge these application types.
In addition, the following ancillary applications may also be lodged via the Portal-
- Local Government Act – Section 68 applications
- Structures or places of public entertainment
- Water supply, sewerage and stormwater drainage work – including carrying out water, sewer or stormwater work; connect a private drain or sewer to a public drain or sewer under Council’s control; water meter connection or disconnection; install and operate an OSMS
- Management of waste – including dispose of waste into a Council sewer
- Works and activities within public roads
- Works and activities within Community Lands
- Other – including install or operate an amusement device; install a domestic oil or solid fuel heating appliance; operate a caravan park, camping ground or manufacture home estate; standing vehicle for sale of articles in a public place
- Roads Act
- Section 125 Alfresco Dining within a public road reserve
- Section 138 Construction within a road reserve – including driveway crossings and aprons
Note. There is no mandate on lodging these ancillary application types via the Portal, however, if they relate to a development application or post consent certificate they should be lodged concurrently with that application.
