Richmond Valley Council is seeking quotation for the development of an urban Green Space in the Casino CBD as part of a successful grant submission. The Proposed site location is 153 Barker street Casino, 2470. 15/21DP758236. This project will see a vacant block of council owned land central to the CBD developed into an urban green space, catering to recreational activities, markets, food vendors as well as everyday use of the community.
The project is due to commence in June 2022 and will be completed in September 2022 with weather conditions permitting.
Summary of works proposed:
- Developments of pathways, open green spaces, landscaping and park furniture, dedicated vendor pad, 3 phase power connections.
- Additional works included in project scope – (Not included in this RFQ)
- Development of existing adjacent streetscape. Installation of prefabricated refuge blisters providing additional access to the development from the CBD.
- Development of the existing foot path leading from the CBD – Releveling and Stencilling.
