Part Bridge Street, Coraki – Proposed closure to vehicle traffic
Council has received requests from residents adjoining the unformed section of Bridge Street, Coraki regarding vehicles using the unformed road. The issues relate to the use of this unformed road in wet weather conditions, drainage concerns and the impact on surrounding properties.
Council proposes to close this section of road to vehicle traffic to improve drainage and protect adjoining properties.
The road pipe crossing within this section of unformed road will be removed to increase the flow of stormwater along Bridge Street into Windsor Park. Each end of the closed road will be sectioned off with barriers to prevent vehicle traffic.
