The story of a small all American town excited about the possibility of their High School football team winning the State Final trophy finally after a 7 year losing streak.  As the town strings colourful streamers and bunting everywhere an old bookshop is getting a new face-lift for its grand re-opening with a new coffee shop addition after the much loved original owner passed away and his son home from a corporate career in the city decides he’s going to turn the business around and make it all new. But un-beknown to the residents and new book shop/coffee shop owner their town has changed and is now plagued with youth crime and a hard drug problem usually only seen in organised crime settings.  A new teen comes to town living, out of his car, dressed in black and looking very shady at the same time – everyone except the book shop staff and the hard-nosed local Sheriff blames him for the new drug problems that soon morphs into murder.  A great little mystery.
