Council has started work to create two lanes of traffic at the site of the Bentley Road landslip.
Since the beginning of the floods, there has been one-lane traffic at Bentley, and we are upgrading the verge to open it up to two-way traffic.
Material has been imported to increase the pavement in the verge. From there, the lanes to two-way traffic, followed by sealing the road.
The upgrade will allow two lanes to be flowing through the work site while Council continues to plan and do repair work on the main slip.
