Richmond Valley Council (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the Design and Construction of a landslip on Upper Mongogarie Road. The landslip occurred during the 2022 February and March floods.
Cost items to be included,
• Design
– Preparation of Review of Environmental (REF) and obtain DPI Fisheries Permit (If Required)
– Preparation of Design and Construction Plans for Landslip and Table Drain.
• Site Establishment & Management
– Mobilisation of plant and equipment
– Site compound
– Environmental management
• Construction
– Bulk excavation of sediment
– Supply and construction of gabion retaining system.
– Reconstruct slope supplying imported rock protection.
– Reinstate the paddock between road reserve and riverbank supplying imported fill material.
– Reconstruction of roadside table drain.
• Site Restoration
– Reinstate boundary fences– tie into existing.
– Site clean-up and rehabilitation of disturbed areas
• Completion
– Supply Works as Constructed / Executed (Certification of the Works)
