Council is seeking Internal Audit Plan for a period of three years (endorsed yearly) with an option to extend.
Development of an internal audit plan in line with the ARICs approved workplan.
Conduct internal audits in line with the agreed internal audit plan and provide recommendations. The plan must understand core business processes and risk profile.
Consideration must be given to previous years audits completed to avoid coverage duplication.
Prepare progress reports on completion of recommendations to each ARIC meeting and be available to attend via MS Teams or in person should it be required
Take into consideration any issues or trends within the LG Sector
Liaise with the Audit Office NSW (or appointed contractor) from time to time as required.
