Richmond Valley Council offices and services will change over the Christmas period.
COUNCIL OFFICES AND LIBRARIES
Council’s Customer Service Centres and Libraries will close at 3pm Friday 24 December and re-open on Tuesday 4 January.
WASTE SERVICES
*** The Nammoona Waste and Resource Recovery Facility, located at Dargaville Drive Casino, will be closed for critical repair works on Wednesday 28 December. The facility will be reopen on Thursday 29 December and continue to operate every day except Saturday 1 January and Monday 3 January. ***
Evans Head Waste Transfer Station will re-open on Wednesday 29 December and continue to operate on the normal days except Saturday 1 January.
Rappville Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday 26 December and instead will open on Friday 24 December.
Over the festive period, kerbside collection services will operate as normal, even on public holidays.
Due to tourism activity in Evans Head, the residents in Evans Head can leave all three bins out during the week after New Year’s Day.
