Everyone is welcome at this event bring your friends and family, it will be a great weekend. We appreciate that Breast Cancer has touched a lot of people and want everyone to be involved.
This comp is about so much more than surfing! We believe that there are two areas that could use our help – both research and care for current breast cancer patients. We will be using all proceeds from the running of the event, sponsorship and raffles to go towards Breast Cancer care for current battlers and their families in the community. As well as this, we will be looking broader at how we can can assist organisations that help on a wider scale including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, McGrath Foundation, ThinkPink, Keep a Breast and Dragons Abreast (a dragon boating organisation for Breast Cancer survivors).
There will also be doing online fundraising through the National Breast Cancer Foundation where all the donations will contribute to their amazing ongoing research. We would love all participators to join our Breast Comp Ever team and fundraise themselves through this portal. Once you have registered for the walk, you will be emailed a link to our team page and instructions on how to join our team as an individual. Please ask all your family members, friends, colleagues etc for a donation.
There will be a big raffle with lots of goodies to win as well as a bake sale and lots of other giveaway games to raise money.
