Countdown on for inaugural country music muster

THE countdown is on for the inaugural 2022 Casino Cow Country Music Muster, and tickets are selling fast.

In what is hoped to become the newest addition to the country music circuit, the Cow Country Music Muster will be held on the green at the Casino RSM Club.

The two-day muster gets underway at noon on Saturday 30 April and will feature many talented, multi award-winning country music artists.

A limited number of tickets are available at just $25 and $15 each for under 15s, and can be purchased now at the Casino RSM Club, or online at Search for Casino Cow Country Music Muster. The RSM Club is accepting NSW Dine & Discover vouchers for muster ticket purchases.

Casino’s Own Wireless stalwarts Sandra Humphrys and Mahlon Carthew teamed up with local musician Darrel Maher to spearhead this event, which has received financial support from the Australian and NSW governments’ Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund, Richmond Valley Council and the Casino RSM Club.

Ms Humphrys said the organisers were hoping the family-friendly, two-day celebration of live country music would bring together the town and surrounding communities and provide them with an opportunity to relax and catch up with family and friends.

She said the welcome mat was also out for the many country music fans from right across NSW and the nation.

She said the organisers believed our region was crying out for an event like this, and were confident the great line-up of acts would make it a success.

“It’s been a goal of ours to introduce a country music muster to the Richmond Valley for some time now and we are incredibly excited it’s only a matter of weeks before the artists take to the stage,” Ms Humphrys said.

“We have been overwhelmed by the support of country music fans, and we look forward to residents and visitors having a truly great experience – just make sure to bring a chair or a picnic rug.”
