Work continues on the Casino Showground and Racecourse redevelopment project, which will bring new life and excitement to the heart of Casino.
The project, which is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments through the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, aims to stimulate economic activity while enhancing the community’s recreational and agricultural offerings.
The new undercover equestrian arena is approaching completion, with its surface installed this week, while the upgraded horse stables are looking great.
Major work on the infrastructure is expected to be finished by the end of this month, with some finishing work remaining after New Year.
The upgrade is expected to be completed by March, weather permitting. Council will work closely with stakeholders at the complex during this period.
