Casino Showground and Racecourse is available for hire for individuals, groups, not for profit and commercial users as a one off, monthly or annual basis. The facility booking is made through our Bookable website. Venue charges and bonds will be calculated pending scale of booking and areas of use. Cleaning bonds apply for stable bookings.

For event bookings, you may be referred to the events team. The Events Team may require the following documentation;

• Event Risk Assessment
• Amusement devices & inflatable insurance – you must ensure each operator has the appropriate Public Liability and Engineer’s Certification.
• Site plans detailing all locations of activities and temporary structures.
• Public Liability Insurance – minimum $20 million.
• Program of Activities
• List of food and drink vendors – It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure each food vendor is appropriately registered with Richmond Valley Council as a temporary food business, i.e. market stall, mobile food vendor etc.
• Evidence of liquor licence (if applicable)
• Traffic Control and Traffic Management Plan (if applicable)
• Pyrotechnic Reports for fireworks, laser light shows etc (if applicable)
