Small businesses, non-profit organisations and primary producers across the Richmond Valley local government area can now apply for grants of up to $25,000 to help recover from the impacts of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
An initial payment of up to $5000 may be available to eligible applicants for immediate recovery costs, with a further $20,000 accessible with supporting documentation.
Grants can be used towards essential recovery costs, such as the cost of safety inspections, essential building repairs, cleaning equipment, materials needed to resume trade, disposing of debris and damaged stock, or leasing temporary space.
