The Richmond Valley is a proud, close-knit regional community of around 23,000 people, stretching from the beaches of Evans Head to the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. We’re known for our relaxed lifestyle, strong sense of belonging, and resilience in the face of challenges.
Our region is full of opportunity – whether you’re starting a family, launching a business, or enjoying retirement. The Bundjalung People are the traditional custodians of this land, and their culture continues to enrich our community.
The largest town is Casino, with a population of over 12,000. Other communities include Evans Head, Broadwater, Rileys Hill, Woodburn, Coraki, New Italy, and Rappville, along with many rural localities.
