A world famous magician is making a come back to the stage with a new death defying, Egyptian themed deadly sarcophagus trick he wants patented.  He seeks legal council with Robin Lockwood’s legal firm who helped him once before but that was when he was being defended by them on a murder charge for his missing wife.  The magician’s own past is merky he has a habit of marrying rich women who suddenly and mysteriously go missing or die but it’s never been proven he was guilty thanks to a great lawyer. Robin’s now retired mentor.  Still holding his retainer Robin and her partner are VIP guests at the premier performance.  Robin is an amateur magician herself and looks forward to trying to decipher how the new trick works.  Before she can there’s a terrible scream from the stage and this time the magician doesn’t escape alive from his trick.  Now it’s a search for the magician’s murderer.

A unique,  and intriguing plot.  5 stars
