VP501329 – Casino Sewer Mains Rehabilitation

Closing Date: Friday 27 March 2026 - Processing

Council (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the rehabilitation of Council’s Sewer Mains.

This tender has been called to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide structural rehabilitation for gravity sewer mains using non-evasive technology. The nature of the sewer rehabilitation works to be executed will consist of all work associated with the manufacture, supply, delivery, installation and testing of acceptable sewer rehabilitation systems for sewer mains in the Richmond Valley Council as detailed in Attachment 1.

The full extent of the required sewer rehabilitation works within each sewer main is unknown and will be directed by the Principal throughout the contract based on the contractor’s investigations of each line.

Where practical, mains have been grouped together, but as there are varying conditions within the sewer network, there may still be a number of single mains. It should be noted that the Principal does not necessarily require the lateral connection to be lined in any way, however the liner will be robotically cut and cleaned at the junction. Refer to the specific sections in this Specification for more detail.

The works identified in the Tender Schedules and Attachment 1 have been nominated from initial estimates by the Principal, indicating the rehabilitation works would fall within the Principal’s approved budget. Dependent on the Contractor’s tendered rates and the works identified in the part of any rehabilitation plan, the Principal may elect to rehabilitate only some of the sewer mains identified in Attachment 1, or else may nominate additional mains to be rehabilitated.
