VP262608 – Flood Works Package 2- Codrington Coraki Culverts- Design & Construct Culvert Replacements

Essential Public Asset Restoration (EPAR) Claims have been made for the repair of flood damage to these sites under Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

This tender has been called to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to design and repair flood damage including: Conducting a flood catchment study to appropriately size and design a series of Culverts at 3 locations- Codrington Lane, Codrington, MR145, Codrington- at Seelems Creek and Queen Elizabeth Drive, Coraki over Coraki Drain. All sites are located within 6km.

Codrington Lane:
Codrington Lane is a rural road, with approximate AADT 59 vehicles per day, with 9% heavy vehicles, providing sole access to properties. It is a school bus route.

MR145 Codrington Lane:
MR145, Codrington is a Regional Road with approximate AADT 1328 vehicles per day, with 22.1% heavy vehicles- 19.7% class 3-9, and 2.4% class 10-12. It provides a major connection between Casino, Coraki and Woodburn and access to the Pacific Highway. It is a 26m B-Double Route, and school bus route, and Truck and Dogs and Quad axle Dogs are also permitted via NHVR permit to use the route

Queen Elizabeth Drive:
Queen Elizabeth Drive is a regional road which runs through Coraki. It has approximate AADT 2146 vehicles per day, with 23.5% heavy vehicles, 14.8% class 3-9, and 8.7% class 10-12. It is a 26m B-Double Route, and school bus route.
