Richmond Valley Council (Council) is upgrading community facilities in Casino to enhance the “liveability” of the town for residents and to attract visitors to the area.
This is consistent with the stated aspirations in the Community Strategic Plan.
The project has the support of the local community and is important that the project is completed efficiently and effectively.
A masterplan has been developed for the redevelopment of the whole of the Drill hall site and Coronation Park.
The Memorial Walk including ‘The Trenches’, the upgrade of Coronation Park and installation of the viewing platform will see the completion of these plans.
