Have your say on Valley’s future pathways and pedestrian crossings

What is a PAMP?

It’s short for PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND MOBILITY PLAN.

Why is it important?

It’s a long-term framework for new footpaths, pedestrian crossings, and related infrastructure in the Valley’s towns and villages.

From December 2019 to January 2020 Council asked residents to take a survey to share their priorities for new infrastructure.

The suggestions have been incorporated into a new series of maps for each town which can be downloaded from the links below.

Residents are also invited  to a drop in session to take a look at the plans and have a chat about the suggestions to ensure the PAMP truly represents the community’s desires.

The drop in sessions will be on Saturday 28 March at the following locations.

  • Casino Library – 10am-12pm
  • Evans Head Library – 10am-12pm
  • Woodburn Visitor Information Centre – 10am-12pm
  • Coraki shelter opposite the memorial on Richmond Terrace – 1.30pm-3.30pm.

To be kept up to date please email rvcpamp@geolink.net.au and you will be added to the mailing list.

Alternatively call GeoLINK on 6651 7666 and request to speak with Richard Elliott.
