Council welcomes applications from eligible community groups and community organisations for the future use Casino Community Gardens.
About Casino Community Gardens:
14 Hartley Street, Casino (Queen Elizabeth Park Outer)
- Assortment of raised garden beds
- Shade house
- Trellising Systems
- Abundance of Fruit trees
- Undercover picnic area with four picnic tables
- Lockable shipping container
- Lockable Shed for storage of equipment
- Includes equipment for maintenance of the garden including a ride on mower

We welcome applications from eligible parties who:
- Create an environment that promotes social interaction & enhances Community Engagement
- Provides opportunities in the community for supporting environmental sustainability
Applicants must:
- Be an active community group, or community organisation within the Richmond Valley Council Local Government Area.
- Be able to provide relevant organisation or association registration, insurance and working with children checks (where applicable)
- Provide a business plan for future financial capacity to fund the maintenance of the Casino Community Gardens
Rates of occupancy will vary depending on the type of applicant and financial capacity of the applicant.
Note: This space is being offered for community benefit therefore applications from commercial organisations and businesses will not be accepted.
