ENTRIES for the Casino Truck Show have filled in record time building on the show’s reputation as the greatest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere.
The 2026 Casino Truck Show returns with Pittsworth Fleet Maintenance Friday Night Lights on Friday 31 July and the Main Show on Saturday 1 August, promising another action-packed celebration of Australia’s transport industry.
Casino Truck Show organising committee lead Darren Goodwin said interest in the opening of entries had been huge, with the 550 places filling in less than an hour.
“Every year we welcome some of the finest trucks from across Australia, and we are blown away by the amazing responses to entries opening,” Mr Goodwin said.
“The Casino Truck Show continues to grow in reputation, and we’re looking forward to another outstanding display of pride, passion and craftsmanship from across the transport industry.
“There will be something for everyone across the one-and-a-half-day event, and we’re looking forward to seeing a massive crowd fill the streets.”
The event kicks off on Friday night with the Pittsworth Fleet Maintenance Friday Night Lights. This free night will transform the Casino CBD into a spectacular display of illuminated trucks, live music and entertainment.
The Dawsons Haulage Parade will depart at 10am on Saturday morning, with hundreds of gleaming trucks making their way through Casino before taking pride of place in the CBD.
Visitors will also enjoy free live music from two stages on Walker Street throughout the weekend from Khan Rocks, Tate Cole, Sabotage, and Thor Phillips Band, while the Days Machinery Travla Bulls Bar and Commercial Two Mates Brewery Bar will operate during the event.
There’ll also be plenty of free family entertainment, food stalls and industry displays to make the day a true family experience.
Popular broadcaster Luke Bona will also be joining this year’s program, hosting a live Bonafide podcast panel discussion on the Southern Stage from 1.30pm, giving visitors the opportunity to hear from well-known voices within the transport industry.
The afternoon program continues with the annual Truck Show Auction from 2.30pm, supported by GNF Real Estate. Auction items include a custom-built Cummins engine boardroom table by Alltruck Diesel Repairs, two custom-built trailer bars fabricated by Moore Trailers, a set of traditional-style air cleaner barrels supplied by AirCans Australia and a Casino Truck Show painted Kenworth door by Loaded Threads.
The Northern Stage will then host the trophy presentations from 3pm, with an impressive 77 trophies to be awarded across the competition.
To help visitors get around, free shuttle buses from Northern Rivers Buslines will operate on Saturday, running approximately every 40 minutes between the Casino Showground, BIG4 Casino Holiday Park, Discovery Parks and the Casino CBD, with drop-off and pick-up near Aldi.
The Casino Truck Show is proudly delivered by Richmond Valley Council, and General Manager Vaughan Macdonald said it continues to receive strong support from government and industry.
“We also thank our naming rights sponsor North Coast Petroleum, all our major sponsors and the many dedicated volunteers who make this incredible event possible each year.”
“A big shout out also to all our local businesses and hospitality venues who help us provide the platform for a highly successful event in Casino’s CBD.”
