Casino Community and Cultural Centre
Richmond Valley Council received a grant from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government to build the Casino Community and Cultural Centre. This web page will continue to be updated to notify the community in relation to the progress of this project.

The cost of use for the Casino Community and Cultural Centre will be $20 per room per day for community groups and $60 per room per day for Business and Government groups.

Richmond Valley Council is now planning to undertake a detailed Operational Plan for the Casino Community and Cultural Centre. As a part of this process, Council would like to consult with those organisations that are potentially interested in using the Casino Community and Cultural Centre
In order to facilitate these discussions Council has established meeting dates as follows:
- Monday, 30 August 2010 2:00pm - 3:00pm (approximate file size 40KB)
- Monday, 27 September 2010 2:00pm - 3:30pm (approximate file size 65 KB)
- Monday, 25 October 2010 2:00pm - 3:30pm (approximate file size 480KB)
- Monday, 29 November 2010 2:30pm - 4:30pm (approximate file size 19K) and excel spreadsheet (approximate file size 32 KB)
All of these meetings will be held at the Council Offices in Casino.
Richmond Valley Council ran an information session on 30 June 2010 for interested user groups. An identical information session is planned for 1pm on Monday 30 August 2010. Notes of the first information session are available on request.
